Otis, an 8 year old 106 lb. lab/Dane mix, became a Tripawd on February 9, 2016 after his right front leg broke due to osteosarcoma. We did 4 rounds of carboplatin, but lung mets were discovered on Agust 25, and he passed on September 4. Otis was half of a bonded pair, and his adopted sister Tess, passed suddenly of hemangiosarcoma on October 9. The day before Tess passed, a local lab rescue group had identfied Gator, a 120 pound 6 year old yellow in need of a home, as a potential companion for her. His picture was on my phone, and my house needed a dog. . . View all posts by otisandtess
So adorable! Henry had his first romp in the snow yesterday as a tripawd and after an initial slip and slide he got the hang of it. Although it wasn’t very icy so I’m still a little nervous for those coming days. More for me because I’m uncoordinated and don’t want to fall and embarrass him. 😉
LOL!!! Him sitting in the snow! I remember Shelby’s first snow (she was from New Orleans) … she didn’t have a clue what to do with it.
Jasper was the same and she’s from Mexico. My warm weather girls … not a clue but Jasper loves playing in the snow. I think she prefers cooler temps in general.
Love him!!!
Adorable. He’s so sweet…..and very lucky to have you. 🙂
Nope! Not in Tennessee anymore Gator!! And it looks like you’re just fine being in your new Winter Wonderland!
Gator, rain, wind, sleet and snow won’t keep you from patrolling for critters! Good job Gator!!
Yeah, love the butt sitting in the snow picture! Love ALL your pictures!
Now, boys from Tennessee just may need a Winter sweater from Santa this year! Goodness knows you’ve been a very good boy!!
Yay Gator looks like you have the patrolling for critters down. Did you play any in the snow. You look so regal sitting there 🙂
Don’t know where I thought he was from Texas but I stand corrected. 😀 Although not much snow there either so probably still all new to that big yellow dog. It’ll be interesting to see if he ever gets his snow legs and learns to love it or not? I think you need to go out there with him and build a snowman Christine to show him how much “fun” snow can be. LOL
