A post only this community will understand. . .

I was feeling very down, lonely and overwhelmed last night – thinking about Otis and Tess, my Mom’s death of cancer in her 50’s, and mortality in general.  This morning, I found this inside my bedroom, right in the middle of the floor.  For those who don’t recall, Gator is very yellow.

This is clearly not yellow. . .

Only in this community is a clump of dog hair meaningful.

Otis, an 8 year old 106 lb. lab/Dane mix, became a Tripawd on February 9, 2016 after his right front leg broke due to osteosarcoma. We did 4 rounds of carboplatin, but lung mets were discovered on Agust 25, and he passed on September 4. Otis was half of a bonded pair, and his adopted sister Tess, passed suddenly of hemangiosarcoma on October 9. The day before Tess passed, a local lab rescue group had identfied Gator, a 120 pound 6 year old yellow in need of a home, as a potential companion for her. His picture was on my phone, and my house needed a dog. . .

  2. Ohhh Christine….have some chills and a bit of watery eyes going on over here.

YES!!! WE UNDERSTAND!!! And we know exactly how that their fur got there!!

Between your recent dream and this sweet fur pile, Otis and Tess have been working overtime letting you know they are around you all the time.

NO ONE knows what can be accomplished from the energies of those who have crossed over to another dimension. Intriguing that these “signs” seem to appear when we need them most.

I’m so glad this was placed there for you by Otis and Tess. Sounds like your Mom had her paw on this connection too!

    (((((((Hugs))))))))

Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!

  3. Those two always seem to know when you need them don’t they? So in tune with you from the heavens!

  4. Christine!
I bet that brought you a great amount of comfort. A sign that Otis and Tess are with you always!! )))HUGS((((
